  61. Synchronization, allowing remote users to synchronize changes between various
  62. GoldMine systems. Remote Synchronization via modem chronologically merges
  63. data at the field level to combine separate changes made to the same record.

  70. GoldMine for DOS, Windows, and Windows 95 directly interface with many of the
  71. more popular word processors including Microsoft Word, WordPerfect and
  72. AmiPro.  Direct merges are available in DOS with the use of batch files and
  73. the word processors' merge functions. GoldMine for Windows relies on DDE to
  74. create links to the target word processors, directly merging data to produce
  75. the desired forms.

  80. GoldMine for Windows is written in C++, a native Windows compiler.
  81. GoldMine for DOS is written in Clipper, a database engine based on the
  82. Xbase or dBase file structure. Additionally, all GoldMine files are
  83. accessible from other applications because GoldMine is based on the standard
  84. dBase format.
